During my recent holiday in Canada I wanted to see some of the freight trains in this country, and I was very impressed with what I saw.
While passengers wait at Banff station for the Rocky Mountaineer, a westbound Canadian Pacific (CP) freight powers through the station. The loco's are hauling 110 wagons - 50 grain hoppers, 33 tankers and 27 container flats. I estimate the train is about 6580ft in length. Sorry its not steady, I left my tripod at the hotel.
I have my holiday in Devon, and you get to go to Canada Stu, what's going on here...LOL....these trains are an amazing sight and we get excited about 25 MEA's going up to Onllwyn!!.....Great footage...Bob
