During my recent holiday in Canada I wanted to see some of the freight trains in this country, and I was very impressed with what I saw.

While passengers wait at Banff station for the Rocky Mountaineer, a westbound Canadian Pacific (CP) freight powers through the station. The loco's are hauling 110 wagons - 50 grain hoppers, 33 tankers and 27 container flats. I estimate the train is about 6580ft in length. Sorry its not steady, I left my tripod at the hotel.
