Only thing about that I know, is you have to start with a somewhat short line, for the initial drop. Otherwise he will drop below your line for some reason. Sorry though, don't know why you see nothing at all.

Seeing how I kind of left out some stuff - To make the straight line Right Click where you would like to start your line (this brings up a menu), then left click, and while holding the left click down, drag your mouse just a Little. If the menu is in the way, simply right click anywhere after your initial click.
