Got My Tonsils Out!

5 days after getting my tonsils out...if you're an adult thinking about having it done..seriously don't. let me know if you have any questions, i'm more than happy to help :) Good luck if you're getting them out though!

im gettting mine offf in a month. im sooooo nervous. :'( im mainly concerned cuz i have a condition where i get lots of mucus in the back of my throoat all the time . i take meds for it but i wont be able to take them during the time that the tonsil scars are gonna be healing. im gonna have to swallow like crazy:'( when did the pain stop?

@xcamillecamille um the pain of swallowing kind of stopped about the 4th or 5th day but my throat was still really sore..you'll be fine honest!

i'm on my fourth day post op, and its funny because i almost sound the same as you do. getting your tonsils out is the worst experience ever. i have a couple questions though.

1) when were you able to eat normaly again?

2) did you notice the scabs falling off?

How did you know that you had those things and how dies if feal before the surgery

@MyLola32 some people can see that they have the concretions but others cant..usually people cough them up when they're sick or something but mine we're actually embedded into my tonsils. and what do you mean how does it feel before surgery? like going into surgery or your tonsils?

yeah im 10 years old and im finding out i have to get my tonsils out so im kind of scared to because people (my friends ) have been telling me it hurts and that you cant die from the amneasa they give youy to make you got to sleep so yeah help me what do i do!!!!!! DX DX DX
