An adventurous astro-peep flies to the edge of space on board the Adler Planetarium's "Far Horizons 12" high altitude balloon mission, nearly to 97,000 feet.

@tanndox - The camera and instruments are launched on a high altitude balloon. In this case, when the balloon reached an altitude of almost 97,000 ft., the ballon burst. The payload has a parachute attached and it is able to land safely back on solid ground!
