As you can see, the lanes are dry outside of 3, so that's the breakpoint area to play. Keep it inside and it is VERY heavy and pretty long. The VP2 gave me the best reaction. Started out on 24, targetting 10 at the arrows.
First 3 shots are from early when I was lining up. Next 2 are regular shots. Next 2 trying to get around it more - first shot was bad, second I calculated the rev rate around 300rpm off the hand. Next one was playing straight - again, first shot bad, second was good. Last one is another regular release. I think I calculated the rev rate on that one around 270rpm. Lane level shots were from a bit earlier, it was at the end of the first game. I had come in high a couple times, so I had just made a small move in. I like what I see in the shots from behind, aside from the fact that my hand goes from a good position on the way back to a weaker position on the way through.
Then the side shots. Yuck. Haven't seen that view in a while. Early pushaway is back, and what is up with the third step?
They had speed on the display there, and my ball was low 14s at the pins - I realized I was over-cupping, so the last game I tried to keep my wrist pretty straight and just push through the ball at the bottom. My reaction got a lot better when I did that - cleaner release, more backend, and more speed. Felt kind of PAish.
Great form buddy! I have a question, how do you know where to put the tape on the ball! is it from your PAP?
