@riadlia , umn are they deep scratches or little ones cause some of them will buff out after the fine grit sanding you dont need to go up that high in numbers really 1200 is more than good then buff it with some buffing compound of your choice, then buff with a polishing compound of sometype me i jst make a paste with cornstarch and water and fill my hand spread on the wheel an you know buff it out
if deep scratches do it by hand that way your not putting so much pressure on the material an

@jcadlols wrong rust isnt bubbly at all that is a chemical reaction happening somwhere between your base and clear if its fresh paint that causes bubbles and peal off, what i described to you is orange peel the rust will grow over the metal come through the final paint an leave a texture of that of an orange, the gun thing is jst the dumbass painting didnt adjust the spray pattern an old whethrd paint will crack bubble an peel then rust do to age not orange peel jst old and beatn

@apotts32 Rust can look bubbly, kind of like the surface of an orange. But what I believe is called orange peel, is where the top coat reacts with the primer and gives a lumpy, bubbly texture. All new paint jobs will have a texture to them as that's how they come off the gun and this video incorrectly (in my opinion) calls that orange peel. The important thing to note is that factory paint is usually too thin to safely colour sand, so it's better to do it to a custom paint job.

yes your are cause you started at 800 grit wich dulls it out an removes the runs then when your moving up to the finer gradesof paper your actually polishing it back to a shine then when you buff your product it will be shiny like the rest i think we can all agree that sanding with 2000 is like sanding with a piece of binder paper no one enjoys the fact that its not doing much at all to the human eye an it seems senseless, the best painters fight runs its jst a matter of how good you can hideum

@imadrunkenfooL14 you forgot to add the part where he doesnt work on any of his vehicles and hes reading off a screen behind the camera that was written by a guy who knows what hes doing
-
@jcadlols is this correct?, orange peel is caused by rust that was already there even tho you may have removed it . then you do your works over it primer paint exct... then the rust starts growing back in a way over time couple mounths a few years depends on how good you got rid of the rust in the first place an then you will see an feel it through the finished product

@Gasdrinker Texture, orange peel is a different thing altogether.
