12 - The story of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (2003) - The Founding of Durotar

This video contains the story relevant sequences from the bonus campaign, "The Founding of Durotar", of the game "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne" (2003), developed by Blizzard Entertainement.

Note: This is a bonus single player campaign and it is not part of the expansion's main storyline. It follows the adventures of Rexxar, a half-orc half-ogre, as he helps the orcs found their new nation of Durotar.
The heroes you can control are: Rexxar (Beast Master), Rokhan (Shadow Hunter), Chen Stormstout (Pandaren Brewmaster) and Cairne Bloodhoof (Tauren Chieftain). You can also briefly control Jaina Proudmoore (Archmage), Drek'thar (Far Seer) and Nazgrel (normal unit).

Note 2: Because of the nature of the gameplay, the storyline may not always be as linear as it is in normal campaigns.

NOTE 3 (IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACTS II & III): this means you are playing on and older version of the game (probably the first retail). You need to patch the game to play the last two levels. To do this, you can either connect to battlenet (it will upgrade by itself) or go to "http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=21220&q... and download/install it manually.

@GicaPopa Hey dude could you make a lore series for the storylines in World of Warcraft? I've been looking all over the internet for one of them and still can't find any.

@ImperialStriver26 I thought about it at one point, but the way story is presented in WoW makes it kind of difficult to put it in a (fun to watch) film. It would mean you'd have to stop the video to read quest text and so on, with a few scripted game scenes now and then. I'll think about it though, ty for watching these :)

I love the connection between Warcraft 3 and WoW! Did you add the intro of WoW in the end yourself or was it this way by default after completing the Horde campaign??

@BanelNicolita1000 Acts II and III were added in patch 1.13. Easiest way to get them is to patch the game by loging into battlenet (current version is 1.24e i think). Otherwise you might need to look them up on the internet and install that upgrade.
