@freedomfighterguy1 They aren't hugely unusual or original revelations though, it doesn't really even have any significance, that's a lesson taught in even children's books. Don't mean to shit on you man, as any thinking is good in this world that is so devoid of thinking, but don't tout something as your own creation when it has been deliberated for centuries.

Capitalism make you a battery. You wake up each workday, and give your time and energy to a system that produces goods you consume and you would never need if the system didn't exist. Most of your remaining time and energy you spend to consume these things e.g. television, movies, and disposable goods. Time that still remains you need to regenerate to be able to operate well as battery.

..or commonwealth 96's Nihilism could be a reductionist phase of selfhood... like descartes methodical doubt...it is also a way of deflating a good video excerpt by trolling others to agree with you by saying "profoundidities" like "you can either accept you are flesh and doomed to die...(which is an everyday awareness)...or you can blind yourself with blissfull ignorance...(which is selective listening and in this and many cases not blissfull)- personally i think he is a sullen battery.
