Road Scholar volunteers create nesting habitat for Common and Roseate terns on Eastern Egg Rock in Muscongus Bay, Maine.

Every spring and fall the Seabird Restoration Program (Project Puffin) of the National Audubon Society offers 6-day, 5-night service-learning programs on seabird biology and conservation in partnership with Road Scholar (Elderhostel). Participants live in cabins on Hog Island and travel to nearby seabird nesting islands to participate in conservation projects.
