  • Peter is a sweet man and you can see it in old interviews and today but the drugs clearly changed him. What a shame that some scumbags kept pumping him with the crap until it semi-fried his beautiful artists mind. Still we are lucky to have him still playing. Amazing he ever came back after that nightmare journey.

  • @Jackiesstash08 lets see, I saw an Ibanez Iceman early 70s purchased in Norway Peter said, an early 50s strat, a 52 tele, in TV yellow no less, a left handed 57 strat, an Aloha Edition Dobro, even a couple custom made guitars from boutique guitar shops. You are calling this "junk shop oddities"? Cripes you know nothing about guitars.

  • Looked up that Guy Harrison that was referred to here. He is a Canadianbased maker of classical stringed instruments. There must have been a story behind the guitar he made for Peter. Pete's memory seems shot, but as others said, a delightful man, still enjoys life and achieved so much in a short time. Bless him.

  • @VIDARMATHISEN - THE FIRST ONE HE SHOWS US.... HE OFCOURSE GOT MORE THEN ONE HE HE

  • I WOULD LOVE HAVING THAT DOBRO

  • Someone traded him garbage for gold like giving a baby a big nickle for his little dime. Mercy!

  • There but for the grace of God goes Keith Richards ...

  • I Got 2 Meet & See Peter Green Play @ Wilberts In Cleveland Oh When He Toured The States Back In The 90's !! He Was A Really Nice Man !! & A Super Talent On The Guitar !! Oh My

  • @IvanTuroc let's see, there's no clear indication of the age of the first strat but it's definitely not 'early 50s' as it has a rosewood board, the tele looks to be a cheapy 80s japanese model (yellow finish, 6 barrel modern bridge, modern tuners and pickguard, etc.) and the 'left handed 57 strat'?! this is an 'encore' branded stratocaster copy; an entry level guitar that can be bought for next to nothing. Cripes you shouldn't be so quick to criticize others.
