I know he said the song was about his cocaine addiction. But I also see it as a metaphor for the Illuminati (all the people around him) But him standing up for what he believes in and he's willing to die for his belief. Idk if he has something against the Illuminati or what but yea. Overall my favorite song.

@SeanDunstan It's not "wack" open your mind to understand it... look at it in a metaphoric way.

I personally think that Scott Mescudi, who had fallen in it's own drug addiction, came out. However, now he is falling again but is still trying to resist. Hence, the scene takes places in an abandoned building which represents his old addiction. Afterwards, he is trying to fight against his old addiction but at the end they are too many. He finally gets stab by himself, his addiction leads to his own loss. he kills himself in a way... God that song is amazing.

To me.. I feel like this is the struggle you face EVERYTIME you try to fight addiction. Its like a big abandoned building in your heart because you try to act like its not there, you forget about it. And when you face introspection, you realize its filled up with all the regrets and mistakes youve made form the addiction. THe feeling comes on to get that high again, and its like fighting your way out of hole, until you finally give in again.. and you end up, in a sense, killing yourself.
