July 22nd-29th 2011, the antimilitaristic network Ofog organised an international peace action camp against the military training area NEAT in Northern Sweden. NEAT in Europe's largest overland military test range used by militaries from all over the world for testing missiles, combat aircrafts and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The weekend 23rd to 24th of July 2011, international seminars were organized under the theme of "War starts here", as part of the international action camp "War starts here - let's stop it here!". The seminars were organized by the antimilitarist network Ofog (based in Sweden) together with War Resisters' International (WRI). The focus of the seminars were on how wars begin in different ways in our communities and how the anti-militarist struggle is linked to other struggles. Peace activists from all around the world were present to tell about their resistance to war and militarism in their specific countries.
