CSI leaves the guesswork out of choosing a college. Our preeminent faculty includes Guggenheim Award winners and Fulbright Fellows. Our cutting-edge technology includes a large wireless (IEEE 802.11) local area network (a first in the CUNY system) as well as a technologically advanced wired network that transmits voice, data, and multimedia communications among more than 2,000 computers. There are over 100 fellowships, grants, and scholarships awarded to CSI students who excel in our challenging curriculum. Additionally, CSI offers professional preparation programs, including teacher education, nursing, physical therapy, and physician assistant, each with pass rates among the highest in the country.




CSI also offers a highly competitive Honors College, where eligible students receive an academic expense account, a free laptop computer, and a Cultural Passport that provides entrance to the enlightening riches of New York City, to name a few of the benefits.




The College's technologically modern 204-acre campus is mainly comprised of fully restored Neo-Georgian academic and administrative buildings dotting the landscape of our serene, park-like setting. Complimenting our late-nineteenth-century buildings, aesthetically and academically, there are newly constructed special purpose facilities that not only enhance and reinforce students' academic pursuits, but also provide for an engaging social and community experience during your studies with us.
