My first session with POD2.0 ever, just for testing.

Recorded with: Nokia 5300 (worst quality)
Guitar: a cheap strat copy
Preamp: Line6 POD 2.0 (the rhythm guitars go first through a DOD FX84 compressor to tighten the sound)

  • Is this played in Drop F#?

  • It's Bb standard all the way for the rhythms.

  • Hey how did u get the drums on?

  • I'm making a short tutorial about these Djent sessions, I'm uploading it here this week.

  • Sounds straight out of DEI. Excellent stuff. The bending is a little exaggerated though. :)

  • Really? Did you listen to the fucking recording? Obviously the dude knows how to play the song and has a good tone for it. The only thing you can play is the skin flute so go get some practice you turd

  • haha the first riff is just a slow version of FBM, but that doesn't make it any less awesome.

  • 0:50 Those bends sound awesome. Are you just using power chords there?

  • This is their late 90's style :D

  • @kimkikki i didnt say i cant hear the difference... and what the hell is an "ear course"? learn some english before you try to insult me.

i know the difference between them. that doesnt mean that you cant play certain genres of music. it means some go better with metal and some go better with other stuff. ive had a $100 with single and a $900 guitar with humbuckers. i understand but that doesnt mean you can tell people that they arent aloud to play what they want to. its music not politics

  • @kartman1751 damm man where did you bought your ears?

you still can't find a difference beetwen single or humbuckers pickups?

they are just two different worlds, and i'm not exagerating, such as the classical and acustic guitar.so try to wash better your ear,or maybe do an ear course.

but even me,in the far first month of playing, had this kind of problems.

no offence, but try to be more cordial,is very constructive

  • @kimkikki i know this is 4 months old, but you're a complete idiot. so you are saying that if someone has a guitar with single coil pickups, they cant play certain types of music? so are people with dual coil unable to play whatever is is that is for the single coil players? what if i couldnt afford a better guitar, im not allowed to play good metal just because of the pick ups or the fact that it may be a fender?

  • 5 people missed the like button

  • Man I like this. Very cool.

  • At the time my Fender Strat (w/ DiMarzio humbs) and RG Ibanez were at my band's rehearsal place and I was so anxious to do a demo for my POD 2.0 (bought on the same day) that I couldn't wait to get them back. So I tried to make a decent sounding preset for single coils and make a session out of that. Normally I wouldn't play this type of music with single coils
