"Just Getting Started" is an original song I wrote and recorded a year ago, as a bit of an homage to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

As with my "Lines and Squares" video, despite the relatively professional sound quality, there's no lip synching here: I merely recorded the vocals and guitars (including the guitar solo) live into my music program as I recorded the video, and then mixed the audio all together and synched it up to the video. So what you see me doing is what you're hearing. No pretending!

This is the Longest Concert Evar, starring Pudge. Send requests to concertrequest@pudge.net, or post them here.

  • a man can you tell me how i can get this song

  • It is my song. Go to my web site, linked to on my profile, there's an MP3 there. It's also on my CD "Nandor's White Castle."

  • You opened me up to a new petty song. I had not heard it before.

    I like your style, man.

  • No, it's not a Petty song. It's a song I wrote as an homage to Petty. :-)

  • What a great video. It kind of reminds me of KT Tunstall because in one of her performances everything that was the background vocals she did all by herself when she did live performances. She used some sort of device that recorded her voice and when she pushed a pedal it made it into the background vocals or something of that nature. I hope that makes sense.

  • Yes, a looper pedal. I used one on Free Bird to record multiple guitar parts at the same time.

  • hella sick!

  • great song man

  • Nice song! At the beginnning it kind of (faintly) reminded me of country roads, but that's probably due to my bad habbit in recognizing al sorts of songs even when there probably not even there. Anyway, I'm starting to ramble. All I wanted to say is you're a great guitarist en have killer voice to go with it, don't ever stop! ;-)

  • Ok. I was wondering about that. I was also wondering what you were doing in that video for the longest time.
