  • yeah I'm probably gonna try it your way next time.

  • yes the doctor and the web sites made me aware of that but the doctor said my kidneys were in excellent condition so he felt the risk factor of kidney damage was very low. He was right. I had no problems at all. the up side of the visicol is not having to drink a gallon of terrible tasting gunk. One writer commented that it tasted like whale semen. I wonder how he knew that. The down side is poor cleansing in the cecum area therefore poor visualization. I have to do it again in june.

  • Always schedule your colonoscopy a month in advance.

Then you can get just the number of pills you need over the internet.

Otherwise, you'll have to go to the drugstore and buy a whole bottle of pills even though you need just 3.

  • I"M GONNA SNEAK IN MY CELL PHONE LMAO

  • i didnt even think of the toilet paper issue :S I think I better get up early tomorrow before my first dose and get softer TP!! thanks for the advice!

  • They have a bunch of different preps. Nulytely, Colytley, Fleet phosho soda, etc. This last time they had me do 4 Dulcolac pills at noon and then 238 grams of Miralax mixed with Crystal Light. It was delicious. Just like lemonade. You couldn't even tell there was anything in it. I will go with this anytime. The pills are for people that have a fear of drinking some horrible tasting liquid goop like I was last year. But the Miralax is great.

  • You paid $138 for your pills...I paid $10 for my TriLyte. I think I'd rather choke down the gallon of trilyte than spend an additional $128 on pills.

  • haha lucky you, i had regular toilet paper when i did mine MY GOD!!!

  • Visicol and other sodium phosphate products have been associated with kidney failure. Look on the fda website for the notice about Oral Sodium Phosphate Products. There are safer choices.

  • i just did my prep today. lol the prep didnt hurt my bottom. i had to drink like 48 ounces 8 ounces every 10 minutes and it tasted like urine. i swear. i didnt finish it. i couldnt.
