Not really viking, since the lyrics of this song is based on a poem from 1904.

This should be an accurate translation. My mind is so heavy, i see no light In all of the gloaming, white room. I bow down and ask for advice. But the heaven is silent I stare tensley out in the hard night Then star after star comes out I feel as if they wave after me As small answers from God I bend down, with thanks for tonight and belive in tomorrow så clear and tall But then the stars are hidden in shame Oh God! how they lied.

THE BAND might be viking metal in general, but this song is not, and that's what I meant.
And the language might be the same as the vikings spoke, but as i wrote THE LYRIC is not from the viking age.

First, If you listen to their other songs you will hear that it IS in fact metal.
Secondly, they sing in elder norwegian, the language the vikings spoke.

It should be "æ", not "ж". And æ is pronounced like the a in "bad" (in English). But, in the song it's pronounced like "kveld", where the "e" is pronounced like in "bed". "Di" in "diset" is pronounced like the letter d ("dee").
So "d-set kveld". Pressure on the d in d-set.
