  • @all66books I think it's just the way advertisers were untill quite recently. untill everything got so specialized, I belive the people who wrote the ad were writing ads for cars and furnaces for adults just before. I noticed this on many old radio ads (50's ads that sound 40's and 60's ads that sound 50's) I personally recorded a lot of radio in the 1970's and when heard today, the 1975 ads (esp local ones) sound oh so 1968! the ad men just could not keep up!
