The Great Depression, WW2 looming, people unable to get basic medical or dental care because they had no money, TB, rickets, diphtheria, polio? Life was simpler but some perspective is required. Great song though.

Chap, just because its not on a music chanell doesnt mean its not music. Tell me, how many music chanells play apalaichan field recordings? none... and its some of the greatest and most cultural music in the united states.
