  • Cool Dude, Same problem. Cool music but on LPs. I'm having trouble setup the sound card on my computer so AA3.0 can work. I have to go to Edit...Audio Hardware setup...then it gets complicated. Can you help? Can you do a hardware/software setup video? Thanks man, from NY!

  • @almc2242 What kind of sound card do you have? what operating system? You should have been able to do the audio setup to your sound card. Do you have a pre amp? its a small box that will boost your sound from record to mp3. If you dont have one get one or you wont like the sound.

  • Hello 1uneek. We gave up a month ago. I connected our turntable to the pre amp then to the computer (desktop) via microphone jack input (we bought the rca to mini jack from radio shack). We got frustrated with the first set up because audition is not seeing the turntable. We called Adobe and believe it or not, nobody could not help us. So i'm back here to ask how did you set up for whole entire audition software set up?

  • @haribonknight72 you have aa 3.0? Lets try this: turntable should go into and IN that should be out of the preamp. Preamp should go out into the laptop. If you have the one and only soundcard in the laptop, identify the name. Open AA and look i think in 3.0 options, devise, settings or options and set your sound card to record, output etc. Press the record button and see if you see the two recording bars go back and forth. Try this if you havent. Let me know and we can troubleshoot it.

  • hello 1uneek. here's what i did. I ended up using audacity because audition doesn't like windows 7. audition did not find my internal sound card on my new PC desktop. It keep seeing the Audition 3.0 windows sound. But the dj preamp did work on audacity.

right now i'm using audition to clean up the sound from my vinyl recordings.

Thanks so much for your help.

  • @haribonknight72 I was wondering what happened to you. Ive been recording my records at nights. I sorted mine by alphabetical order. That was time consuming but it works out better. Let me know how the recording go. Peace.

  • @1uneek Hello 1uneek! I've been on vacation for the past weeks! My girlfriend and I are going to try to connect it the preamp, turntable, and laptop this weekend. I hope it goes smoothly this time because we bought a new HP laptop.

  • @haribonknight72 Hey man? did you get your records to record on AA? I hope i didnt freak you by asking you to be on facebook? I just thought it would be easier to talk on line so I could try to walk you thru it. Anyway, I hope you got it if not let me know. Peace.

  • @haribonknight72 Can you hear the record over your speakers and sound card? What version of audition do you have? Do you have an accnt on facebook? If you do send it thru messeges and Ill add you so we can aim instead of leaving messages here.

  • @1uneek hello 1uneek! I got the Artccessories pre amp today! I'm ready for installation. I got it hooked up from the 1200 to the art box to the laptop. but can't figure out the adobe audition set up now!
