that's a sunflower feeder. Too much work and energy expenditure. Get a peanut feeder and you'll have a happier bird and a cleaner feeder. The longer the birds cling to the feeder, the more likely they are to transmit disease. Try a tray feeder.

This is a Female red-bellied woodpecker. The Flicker has small spots on them. A male red-bellied has that red mohawk go clear around its head to its beak.
