  • that's a sunflower feeder. Too much work and energy expenditure. Get a peanut feeder and you'll have a happier bird and a cleaner feeder. The longer the birds cling to the feeder, the more likely they are to transmit disease. Try a tray feeder.

    Otherwise nice clear video.

  • These are beautiful! I'm from Australia where of course we have beautiful birds, but you don't often hear about the natural beauty of America. Just the plastic beauty :-)

  • This is a Female red-bellied woodpecker. The Flicker has small spots on them. A male red-bellied has that red mohawk go clear around its head to its beak.

  • This is an Eastern Flicker, not a red-bellied.

  • Red-bellied, or red-headed?

  • So very choosy---only the best peanut will do!

  • Cool ^^

  • A beautiful looking bird

    Regards Richard

  • Beautiful!
