This is a video of the Kelly Family crying during the song 'Amazing Grace' at a tv show in 1989. They are crying because this was the favourite song of their mother Barbara, who died in 1982 because of cancer. They also sang it at her funeral.

  • @victormania2008 I am American and I only learned of them when I came upon this video. I googled them to find out who they are. Their parents were Americans who raised the family in Europe. They became very famous in Europe and I'm glad I found them and enjoy watching all the YouTube videos of them.

  • I have alway enjoyed the Kellys. Sing on.

  • @wsmacd Do you have a hearing problem?

  • While I most admire the cross of our Lord Jesus, this himn becomes more personal and an hymn of gratitude and worship to God, for what He did for us in Christ Jesus. SHALOM.

  • This is effing ridiculous... it would be one thing if they were good, but they aren't... and it just becomes and and almost a form of child abuse.

  • @BelRiose2000, I've just had second thoughts about this. Someone on IMDb ("Love Actually" talk page) asked why Liam Neeson's character referred to his little English stepson (who had just lost his mother) as "You poor Motherless Mongrel". The answer was "Probably because he's Irish." My father was Irish. I always used the excuse that he had Tourette's Syndrome and couldn't help it......

  • @plavoosha I know what Wikipedia says. It can be rather hard to track down the truth. However, the mother of Daniel Jnr, Caroline, Paul and Kathleen was an American woman, Joanne, who went to Spain with Dan Kelly and the children, but then went back to the US. Barbara became the children's nanny, and then their mother. The 4 black-haired, long faced children are Joanne's and the 8 blonde, round-faced children are Barbara's. John was her eldest child. That is why they look entirely different

  • @BelRiose2000 Being Irish is not what I was referring to. I considered that Plavoosha's comment was rude. However, Plavoosha writes here that it wasn't intended that way.

  • @MandyJMaddison LOL, why is it rude to be Irish?

  • God bless your family
