THIS IS MY PERSONAL POCKET PISTOL. THE FRAME IS MADE OF ZYTEL, AND THE PISTOL IS DOUBLE ACTION ONLY. IT IS WELL MADE, LIGHT, AND IS LOCKED BREECH, USING BROWNING'S INCLINED PLANE METHOD OF LOCKING. FOR A SMALL, LIGHT POCKET PISTOL THIS IS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE. THE DOUBLE ACTION TRIGGER PULL IS QUITE SMOOTH AND LIGHT AND THE OVERALL DIMENSIONS MAKE THIS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR CONCEALED CARRY. • @threelittleniglets My understanding is that the slide does lock back on the P32, as shown in the video. The P3AT (.380) is the one that does not lock back.

  • thanks nagantman. i own a p32 also and the nail guiderod mod works great. i find it to be a fantastic little gun. i enjoy all of your videos as well. :)

  • Very clever, using a nail. These are rather inexpensive too.

  • how do you get the slide to lock back?

mine has never locked back and when i called kel-tec the lady told me that the slide does not lock back on the P32!

  • Nice little pistols I agree I own four of them and one is my CC pistol. The frames are actually aluminum and the grips are plastic. Slide is 4140 carbon, but they do have an aluminum frame, so many think it's plastic. Just letting you know. You can go to their sight and it'll tell you all about the construction and materials used. The new ones may have a polymer frame but the first gens have aluminum.

  • All I have to say is I love your gunsmithmanship! The best type of engineering occurs with limited supplies and simple mechanics, thanks for showing it, I will do the same if I am able to purchase this pistol.

  • My p3at dose not have the hold open and I had a 32 and it did not have the hold open is this a newer model or was there something wrong with mine

  • @mexricebowl I have a .38 Taurus Ultralight Model 85 in .38 Caliber. It's a small stub nose revolver with 5 shots, and it kicks like a mother. My Mom was 'Forced' to go to the range and learn how to shoot it, and the first shot she nearly fell on her ars not expecting that recoil. It's not super bad, but for somebody with a small frame like yours it won't be fun to shoot. Looking into a Carry gun, the Revolover I have is my first choice, but looking for something with more shots.

  • You replaced the original guide-rod with a nail and we wonder how this has worked out for you this past year.Did you fire it another hundred? I heard that the original was made of zytel because the slide needed to have some flex. A followup would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the close-up shots and the great audio. Very well done.

  • Excellent, very informative video. I am grateful for your specific insights about this gun. You have persuaded me to buy it
