Swing Shift Band, recorded on a Webster wire recorder. Before tape recorders, this was the way it was done.
It just needed a little oil and cleaning and off she went! Bob Macveety gtr and voc, Tim Gray keys, John Barrett bass, Andy Gordon pedal steel, Bon Jones drums.

  • Dear friend!

Pardon, did you say his was the last wire recorded?

All the very best from silly record collector Andy Schilling from Sweden .

PS. I made the last wire recording yesterday. DS

  • @Schillingsanders

what i said it was the last recording of that band on wire. I recorded some more today with the same band.

  • Direct line out transfer, the wire is stainless steel springy stuff.
