Day 26 - Hiking in the Grand Canyon

The Bright Angel Trail we were planning to hike on has shelters along the way and we knew that if the weather turned inclement that we could at least endure an hour or two of foul weather for the joy of seeing the Canyon from the inside before the clouds set in. See, the sky was clear as we pulled into the park and while the wind hinted of a front coming through the skies belied the fact.

Absolutely man. Start planning it now. If it is mapped out you are way more likely to make it happen. That is what we did. Planned to hit up a couple key places but then also let the winds of fate sweep us around the country.

this is just breathtaking. i really want to go on a huge road trip with my mom and uncle. i want to go all the way from pittsburgh, pa to jackson hole, wy. im only 14 but i might do it the summer before college!
