The Death of [ ? ]

This is piece is slated to be a part of LegendaryMousse's upcoming animation series.

Before the project you hear in this video appears, you see the project file I received with a fairly complete layout. It needed improved instrumentation and a little compositional help to better portray the points of the story, which he explained in an e-mail.

It took some editing, then some edits on the edits, and many, many extra tracks to produce a decent cinematic sound (at least, from GarageBand), but it turned out.

A beginner would not take all that long to do better than what I've done here, so I'm sure you could come up with your own great material given the time and effort. To answer your question, no, I've never been in an orchestra. It would be exciting, but first I'd need to learn an instrument and also how to read music..

@ipodyannick Thank you! Many, if not all of the virtual instruments here are samples of recorded material. Some instrument were types that aren't compatible with GarageBand, so in order to use them, I extracted the samples in them as .wav files and arranged them as audio tracks with the rest of the composition. It's a bit tedious, but in a way, it allows me to ignore the 64 instrument track limit. This piece has something like 95 tracks. It would be severely lacking without the additional 31.
