In Excelsis (Alliance) was the premier raiding guild on the Laughing Skull (US-PVP) server for years. This was one of our first kills of Ragnaros, recorded because we were one of the first (if not the first) guilds to use a bear tank to offtank Ragnaros. Also notable because we survived two fire elemental waves.
This is from my priest's point of view, who was a tank healer. Check it out if you want to see how we did it back in the day!

@Repanocho I do agree that you need and gain skill in PvP. I'm talking about the raids from Vanilla compared to the raids now. Ragnaros (in Vanilla) required a lot of coordination. Though I've never done the Deathwing raid, because I left WoW before it came out, I'm sure it was easier than Rag or some of the other raids in Vanilla..

It was more challenging, but if people had the skill of nowadays, wouldn't be really that challenging. Im talking skill you gain from PvP, PvE right now its retard :(

@Repanocho Wow, you really must hate "kids like me" to reply to a comment from 5 months ago. And I am saying you needed more skill in Vanilla. It was a lot more challenging. I can ask everyone I know that played WoW in Vanilla and they would agree.

are you really saying that you needed skill in Vanilla? Sigh, i hate kids like you that make like if you played in Vanilla... Only 5% of people did not click, and it was a fact...
Arenas made the game require more skill to get to gladiator ^^... What its true is that you needed to play like 4-6 hours a Day with the Guild to kill 2 bosses, and now in 2 hours you can kill at least 6 bosses...BTW, a Rank 14 warrior only had gear, not skill LOL
