Infiniti is not a company - its a badge on a Nissan, same as Lexus is a Toyota - LEXUS=LuxuryEXportUS - and the engine awards for Nissan always come from one company, Ward's (?) - Reverse engineering is cheap and leaves alot of $ for commercials

...however my friend has a 2 year old merc E350 and its had problems with air conditioning, broken lights, a bunch of crap, and he still thinks its a great quality car. I dont get that, theres clearly proof that it isnt, but iono apparently its all about the badge.

but the thing is, it all depends on what type of cars u like, japs or german. there is always arguing going on but it really depends on the individual persons preference and experience. ive had japanese cars all my life and none of them were really great performance wise, but they lasted like 13 years and cost little to maintain. then when my brother bought his infiniti G35, it was different. it has a great engine, its comfy, its sporty, and its basically had no problems with it...

if u think infiniti is just another nissan maybe u should drive one! buncha idiots. just because their owned by nissan doesnt mean its a bad company. and btw mercs and beamers have terrible quality, even though i like beamers.

Infinitis are just Nissans that want to be BMWs in the same way Lexus are just Toyotas that want to be Mercedes. Infiniti is a badge just like Merc, Bimmer, Audi and the rest, only difference though is the Germans have earned their right because they are the REAL thing.
