Brigitte Helm - Fidèle - Tango 1933

Brigitte Helm, well known german actress (Metropolis) sung this tango from her french film "L ´Etoile de Valencia" 1932 in Berlin for Odeon. The record was pressed in Paris in summer 1933 and only available in France.
In the german language version of this film, austrian Liane Haid played the female part.

Im November 1932 sang Brigitte Helm den Tango aus ihrem franz Film
(Der Stern von Valencia) in Berlin bei Odeon auf franz. ein. Die Platte erschien
aber nur in Frankreich. Vielleicht weil in der deutschen Sprachversion Liane Haid die Hauptrolle spielte.
Es blieb die einzige Plattenaufnahme der Helm und somit eine Besonderheit, die die schlechte Qualität etwas entschuldigt.

This seems to be in bad condition but none of the 3 copies of this incredibly rare record I've seen and listened to in the last 25 years or so didn't sound any better.

This is athe way a survivng 78 should sound. the effects of it being played over the years . Not hese under gound reprints that are being made from original survivng metal masteres. Still being made from schellack and being sold at specialty shops aledging that its been presevrved and that why it sound too good . this record is a real survivor. Why did brigit helms didn't do the german version? Was it becuase of her country controlled by the nazis that she went to france?
