The reasons for Africa to what it is today are complex, and cannot be summed in a couple of sentences... but:
-during colonialism most of Africa did not develop
-divide and conquer tactics used to rule
-division of territories with no consent to ethnicity nor groups
-after the decolonization a form of neo-colonial exploitation (diamonds, metals, oil, cocoa, etc.)
-cold war proxy wars (Angola)
-IFM & World Bank loans to cleptocrats
-WTO trade policies
-EU & US farm & cotton subsidies

i feel sorry for your stupidity mister so called soulstrumxxx, you have no brain to think you can't judge the book by its cover, the real problem of the congo democratic did not start there , before you wide open your mouth and jump into the conclusion , you need to educate your self , read about the story of people then , African countries are new and got most them 40 years of so-called independence, are they really independent ?

Just let them wipe eachother out :-)
It's nature's cause, we shouldn't interfere in this.
Cut all aid, close the borders and let them kill eachother..

And yeah, it's hard to see people suffer, but it's the only way.. These people are underdeveloped and brain damaged from birth. Their corrupt minds doesn't understand anything else..

Let them die, and never look back

dont be thick. its because the army generals are ordering the soliders to steal the money and benefits from the workers. the worker/people are being totally used and the guerillas are the small number of courageous people want to fight back.

if the state worked with the army to regulate the entire process and everyone got paid, this would work. because only a few are getting paid, the western countries dont have to spend very much, therefore a lot of people are fighting over little revenue.

your right, i was just speaking generally on killings in africa. in that case remove the generals and the whoever else disagrees, in any way that is desirable to "you". reinstate a new governement and regulate it until it can remain in power by itself. and if it happens again just remove them again. there is no way anybody would give up immense power btw by simply asking nicely...ie "a" general. ive got some other things to say.

i feel for the ppl suffering but the only way things are going to change is by accruing power. moral arguments don't work, morality doesn't work for people who don't recognize morality. maybe they can offer something to tip something in their favour but i dont see how much they have to give. gaining some form of power is the only way. as a fact the most powerful have always ruled, that is the way it should be. moral points of veiws are opinions and those who want should look 2 gain leverage.

Vietnamwas a different situation (although when we withdrew in 1973 the North Vietnamese were pretty fucked up) because the didn't want us there. The Congolese do. We just have to do it right: US forces could control strategic areas while training a larger congolese army. Sending the soldiers they already have deeper into enemy territory.

was just speaking theoretically i know how much a failre similarities were in the past, but honestly all the technology exists to equip every soldier with night vision etc and all kinds of fancy toys if its just made, the problem is its not about human life its about money contracts and it just costs too much, besides every country in the world as far as i know is in debt strangling everyone w interest. i mean almost everythig u c in fiction can be mechanicaly made. realistically itl never b don
