Michael Fairchild & The Hendrix Rockprophecy Band play "1983 Moon Turn the Tides...gently, gently away" - live, one take, no overdubs. The music is a soundtrack to various concert and lecture scenes.

In the recording studio Jimi added many layers of guitar overdubs for "1983" and there are no recordings of him performing this song in concert. The Rockprophecy Band theorizes how Hendrix might have interpreted the complex movements and overdubs on "1983" if he had arranged this song for live concert performance.

The total time on this video exceeds 10 minutes (youtube limit), but the song contains a natural partition, where we split our video to continue. This is Part 2 of "1983" - the section Jimi called "Moon Turn the Tides...gently, gently away"
