Loved the Euphonium score of this piece. Definitely a fun challenge with driving energy that keeps moving the piece forward from the legato Oboe/woodwind section and dramatically changes into a brass movement. Loved the transitioning of this piece!

played this piece my freshman year, i had never seen a more magnificant piece before and it was my 1st time in the top band and i was amazed

great great piece. played it my senior year. Which was technically at our concert last May, but still. lol. It was our directors last concert, so we did this and Candide.

Great sounding group, but that sax solo is sooooo wonky! Wonk wonk wa wonk wonk.... It must be nimble, quick and careful, like a little mouse running down the side of the volcano burning his feet because of the hot rock beneath him! Ta taa, te ta taa...very light and bouncy, no?
