Mike Redway sung the vocal version of "Casino Royale" (1967 movie), part of which can be heard at the end title sequence of the movie. I combined his vocal version with Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass' instrumental version and created a complete version of this song.

'Seven James Bonds at Casino Royale
They came to save the world
and win the gal at Casino Royale
Six of them went to a heavenly spot
The seventh one is going to a place
where it's terribly hot

** The formula is safe with old 007
He's got a redhead in his arms
Though he's a lover,
when you are in trouble
Have no fear, look who's here
James Bond!

They've got us on the run
With guns and knives
We're fighting for our lives
Have no fear, Bond is here

He's going to save the world
at Casino Royale **

At Casino Royale

Repeat **

James Bond, is here...............????

  • I suppose I'm just being overly nostalgic, but this silly film with it's numerous famous cameo appearances and no less than four (or was it FIVE directors?), strangely sums up all that I remember as being fun and positive about the '60's

  • Wonderful. I truly love this campy old movie (with all it's lovely ladies) and the music, too, is still very special to me even today.

When I drive my "simulated race cars" around Monaco I'm still quite a bit faster if I drive them 'round to the musical strains of "Casino Royale."

Seriously: It's worth two seconds a lap.

  • I wasn't too impressed by the overly-kitschy one-off Bond flick when I saw it (NOT a Woody Allen fan), but It's an awesome song by Bacharach. I like it better sans lyrics though.

  • Love the downbeat on this number.

  • The final lyric (after James Bond, is here....) sounds like "so have, no fear".

  • I have the instrumental version on my ipod, but looked all over for the sung version.

So glad you posted this, thank you!

  • Wonderful music for the sixties..Still love listening

  • @maninov4u well i was wrong too! thanks
