I love this woman's stand on the issue. I WILL SUPPORT HER MUSIC (independently of whether I'll like it or not) I won't buy CDs as I won't support the labels, but I will try go see one of her shows whenever I can! Sure the labels get a cut on her shows, but at least not as much as they suck out of the music sales revenues. Also go out and listen to independent musicians playing all around the world. So much talent is obscured by the labels that one could listen to free music forever!

I appreciate what she is trying to say but the entertainers like Joss here and Michael Moore that are supporting illegal downloading are the few who are successful enough to not care. Joss Stone's net worth is over 9 million euro, so she is well enough off to not care about the music industry. I am a struggling musician myself, and I support file sharing, but detaching the business from music would mean no money for musicians, and believe it or not we do need to survive.

now, see im not a fan of her music, she is wonderfully talented and has a beautiful voice, im just not a fan. HOWEVER, her obvious love of music and her passion about it makes me want to BUY her music, funny how that works. Take note copyright facsists. If youre artists love their work, her truely love music and all it stands for, people wil want to buy it, show me snotty commercials and self entitled brats complaining that some suit doesnt get his money, then well, no way,.
