  • No matter what any one person says in the roofing industry. Soprema torch products are always a favorite. Every roofing product out there is awesome... But Soprema products are recommended by roofers worldwide.

I just put my video up to show you all how we roof here in the Vancouver BC area. It was not put up here to discredit anybody or companies worldwide. The torchers in this video do an awesome job. "No Bubbles.... No Troubles"

Remember that and keep on plying

    Good day

  • This young guy had only been torching for roughly 30 hours and his workmanship was impeccable. I can only applaud him for trying his best to fuse the 2 Soprema products together. The pull cane is very effective for torching just that you are not walking over the finished work which is easy to score or mark up when hot

  • good work guys

  • no wonder worksafe bc is so brutal on our trade, great vid for poor safety practices boys!

  • and that is Dean Hawlks .......

  • bleed lines are wanted to been in some cases, and if you do bleed out to much, that's what your bucket of granules are for

  • @hitkoke no shit man, this year their product was shit to work with, curved rolls, small rolls, label tape that pulls the poly off and makes cap sheet impossible to work with... hate to say it but im an iko man now.

  • Also there's a bunch of dorks running soprema

  • Just thought i would let the world know soprema roofing treats it's employes like shit.I have no respect for them. There slave drivers that are only out for the profit don't deal with them.Plus the quality sucks because all they want to do is run there product fast as possible.

  • I grew up torching and walking on the roll is the best way I think.

Alternating your foot on the roll (walking) instead of hopping the rear foot along is the technique. And you want to wear flat-soled, non steel toe work boots. No heel makes a big difference in scarring. Among other reasons, the cane is slow and labor intensive. Most people get the top roll too hot, so the cane allows them to do it without any scarring.
