If there's such a sound as "authentic" Chicago blues, there's one player, one man, one artist who still delivers that musical genre like no one else. Steve Sanders give us the story of living Chicago blues legend buddy guy. Next time you pick up a rubber band- you're holding buddy guy's first musical instrument. He's now the nation's most influential blues guitarist... Has won six Grammys... Is in the rock n Roll Hall of fame... And he owns a blues club that has become a top Chicago top tourist attraction... All based on a career that sprang from an instrument this simple.

Saw Buddy Guy at "Le Club Soda" in Montreal. We got there late so we had to sit at a tall table way in the back of the club near the bar. We hadn't been there long when Buddy came down off the stage and walked clear to the back of the club with 100 feet of cord trailing behind him. He play most of the riff right at our table! It was incredible!!!
