Go to StarlightGazette (dot) com & read "The Joseph Theory"
The scriptures were
1. translated by Ezra when the language was almost lost
2. copied by scribes who included the owner's personal notes
3. Pharisees merged beliefs of gods (idols) into Hebrew truths
Genesis is the basis, nothing else.
Abraham became a man of non-violence.
Joseph knew there would be violence, so created a religion to preserve the legacy of Abraham-- who learned that killing is abhorent

I caught your comment here.
Here is the crux:
The peaceful philosophy of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph was lost.
Abraham was a king with hundreds of armed men. In the story of the rescue of Lot, it describes them. HOWEVER, Abraham refused ANY reward or profit from his battle "not even to my shoe latch" that wasn't his. After Joseph, this philosphy was lost. BUT, in the middle of violence remained the philosophy of rightness and love.
Genesis is... the only story.

I have read most of th eold testament - ive had to put it down, for afew weeks, and now only read abit here, and there. It was affectin gme, and making me depressed.
The old testament god, seems to spend 10% of the time telling the jews how he loves them, and the rest of the time, how he's gonna burn their children, and klill their wives with diseases.
Also, as far as i can see, the "animal sacrifice" rituals theat their god insited on, are VERY similar to satanic rites.
@ starlightGazette .
Yes i do . If i am wrong for doing so, please feel free to educate me.

@Alb0w0scott .
That great big ole commandment that says:
"Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain."
Now, about your very abusive and hateful comments that you have attributed to Jesus "in his name." You are exhibiting a bi-polar mentality- likely under the premise that you have also been given permission to hate, judge, disparage, attack, and abuse as you please-- as long as you use the phrase "in Jesus' name" along with it. Do you not see your own contradictions?
