tortoise shell and Tortoise? (Red Slider water turtle)

This is Zoe my Red Slider. We used to have her at school, but DFS would not allow her to stay because of the possible Salmonella issue. I love her . She is in the computer room, and has tons on interaction with everyone.
I was feeding her and as you saw she did not like her regular turtle pellets tonight. I gave her some fruit and veggie pellets the second time.. She preferred those. Whoever said that reptiles have no personality is Crazy.. She is a sweetie. I will make another when I can get some watermelon..She is nuts over watermelon, and takes it to the bottom and devours it. She jumps from the water to take it from my hand.. The tortie kitty is named "Sobe" I have 2 Toetoise shell cats and They are very unique. I will put them on another time.. comment please if you like Zoe

she is huge compared to my red eared sliders put together, their only 4 years old (soon) but i cant tell wether they are guys or girls yet i mean there only 3 inches big! (shell size)

Hi, Believe me.They will grow so fast.. Zoe was the size of a burger King whopper only 4 years ago. She grew every time I increased her tank size...Zoe is about 17 years old now I think.. Pretty soon. your 2 babies will need a lot of room..

I have two Yellow Belly Sliders called Shellman & Mishelle who need a filter in their tank. I have taken the built in Juwel Filter out. Can I please ask you some advice? What are those waterfall filters like? I am thinking about getting two of them, each pumping 500 LPH so Id have a 1000 LPH cycle of water filtered. I just wondered how well they worked? Its either them or I spend money I really dont have or want to spend on a Fluval 305 or some type of external filter like that. Thanks.

aww shes soo cute!! and your tank is very nicely set up and clean :) great job shes adorable! i have a almost 2 month old slider and i cant figure out if its a boy or a girl so i dont even have a name for it yet (bad person) lol i've been calling it a he though because thats what i think it iss but i still want to know =)
