  • for those fucker who think US are fighting for oil then why would oil price is $4 per gallon right now???? dumbasses

  • my guess is that this "fight" to secure a supply of oil for the west, hasn't turned out like it should; somehow this "war" was going to pay for itself through Iraqi oil...perhaps the 'planning' was a bit flawed and incompetent...and so the rise at the pump...that all changes on 20 January 2009, when sanity returns.

  • sois unos flipaos y unos pipas guiris de mierda hijos de puta me cago en vuestra bandera de mierda

  • ¿Pero, drogalito... cómo hágale REALMENTE sensación sobre turistas y banderas??

  • So you think it's wrong well tell all those that have had a gun to there heads and lost there freedom if fighting back isn't right i guess you just want to sit here in dreamland when the rest of the world is going down the drain. tell me that when there on your front door will you welcome them or shoot. they won't think before they shoot you and your family.

  • Fighting back is one thing, fighting just because you can fight is another. My point in this present "war" is that our young men and women are not fighting to preserve my freedoms (which, by the way have eroded in the last 6 years) but are fighting for an academic ideal which can never be achieved militarily. It is the soldier who bleeds for other people's ideologies and follies. War is the last resort not the first choice. Sometimes (not always) diplomacy can work before the bullets fly.

  • 3:17!!!

  • That was no argument at all.

What you seem to be saying is that if we want to see why we should go to war, we should visit those who have been maimed in war and then we'll understand the need for war.

    Whaaaaa?!

Seems like seeing the senselessly wounded would prove the futility of war.

  • war. as donovan says, we are all to blame. not the governments, not the leaders, but all of us. we are the universal soldier. we kill every day. not always with guns. words, actions and deeds can kill also. until man conquers the darkness in himself, there will be no end to war.

  • In my eyes, there is no winner in a war. What is it worth? Is human flesh cheap!?! Men and women die in vain, innocent people give there lives for someone who they have never even met, and who probably dosen't even care about them. WAR IS SCENCELESS!!!

  • What you're advocating (obedience, bravery, nationalism, willingness to die) are a hangover from 300 years of ground-based territorial wars of attrition.

These characteristics are useless--actually harming in our national security. Since the B29, there will never again be any massive, ground-based industrial war of attrition. Since the proliferation of nukes, there will not be wars between dominant powers.

Since 1945 US only attacks weak 3rd world countries.

  • Thank you for your reply, not fighting to preserve your feedom. well i was in the military 30 years and have seen many ways people fight for freedom,i have never seen any peoples even our own fight a war because we could. yes we have engaged in war's that were better left to themselfs.we have had no need till now like the great wars I and II, and i ask you go to the VA Hospitals and talk to those brave young men and woman and you will see the need and why they have joined the military Thank You
