  • @JonathanVonErich On the contrary. The fans couldn't wait for them to turn heel because it revisited a period when they started their legend. Pro Wrestling Illustrated teased their heel turn right after the Powers of Pain left, saying they had an old edge to them. I remember when they first aired the promo of their heel turn, showing Sting getting carried out on a stretcher. Everyone got a preview of the return of the old sadistic Road Warriors. It was a great angle but destined to fail.

  • LmAo @ 5:10. Leave it to Hawk to leave an exclamation mark at the end of a physical statement. Great match considering the angle in it.

  • Hawk was a bad ass!

  • best tag team ever. RIP Hawk.

  • Hawk and Animal's intimidation >>>>> The Miz :p

  • NWA was tag team kingdom !!

  • @johnissoevil True, Arn and Bobby are good friends, but it was Jim Cornette and Stan Lane's jealousy that caused the feud.

  • @DefLeppardVanHalen I had forgotten about the Midnights-Horsemen feud. Something about Arn and Bobby being good friends, but then friction popping up, causing Cornette and the Midnights being cheered or something like that.

  • @johnissoevil Before, as the Midnight Express turned face during their feud with Arn and Tully.

  • Was the Midnights' face turn before or after this match? I know the Cornette-Dangerously feud wasn't long after this. If they weren't faces, then pretty damn good heel VS. heel match.

  • ha that was fun. those kicks didn't look very dangerous though

  • @donaldc5166 Hmm, interesting. Makes sense. Yeah Hawk, sadly was hooked on drugs. It's so sad because so many of the legends and would-be legends of the 80s died over drug usage. I can imagine that's the reason why other stars who should have been champs never was either.
