I'ts is Lyn at The Organ Loft in Salt Lake City, Utah early in his career. It's definately not George. Lyn was a student of George Wright and more or less played George,s style (as did almost every other theatre organist). Lyn's playing has never been crappy since the first time that he was brought to the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles to play the big Kimball that used to be installed there.
Thanks for the post. I'm unsure who this is but dead certain that the word crappy shouldn't be anywhere NEAR the names Lyn Larsen or George Wright. All musicians stand in the shoulders of their elders-damn few are original/new. George was called a Crawford retread more than a few times early on, ironically succeeding him in at the Paramount theatre. I saw George & Lyn many times and "creative" was always the proper spelling of both mens names - giants in the TO pantheon.
Sounds like a very crappy imitation of Lyn Larsen. Lyn, also copied George for the first 10 years of his career. Where are all the CREATIVE organists anymore other than Walt Strony?
Ultimate theatre organ playing. Lyn is a masterful musician, to say the least.

It sounds more like Lynn on Bill Brown's organ. I don't remember the Organ Loft instrument being this bright.

I believe he was 17 years old at the time.

The opening sounds like one of George Wright's registrations. I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of his.
