This is the sole surviving Elton John track featuring Michael Chapman on acoustic, and Mike Ronson on electric guitar. Michael was offered the job permanently but declined, and recommended Davey Johnstone.

That is a pretty good band, With a little luck and practice they might make it to IDOL one day. The singer needs a voice coach but overall this band is very impressive. I give them three and a half stars.

God, it's a hard-progressive-rock Elton as he never showed to be, only in this very tune

This version was recorded between the Tumbleweed connection and Madman Across the River albums and wasn't released until years later. This version considerably different then the title tune on the madman Across the Water album. This is my fav version of the tune.
