Christians aren't hated because they believe in God, or Jesus Christ. The victims of christianity, such as gays, jews, or anyone else you think doesn't fit your narrow views of the bible, are fighting back and saying, loud & clear that they will not take your prejudice any longer. Kayla doesn't need your judgemental prayers so pray to yourself for wisdom & understanding that people have the right to be different from you.

Don't act like Christians are a victim of anything. It is insulting to your victims.

You are not a Christian either then. Christ said nothing about homosexuality. You are following Moses.

I don't know about the specific numbers, but yes we are blessed to live in a land with freedom of religion. In history, and in other countries, it is not so. Even here in the US, the tides are beginning to turn.

You throw the word science and psychology around very loosely. Lets see some science to support your claim.

One source to prove that all people sin. (The bible doe not count.) and one source proving that people cannot be with people of the same gender. (The bible does not count.) For fun lets also see a study saying the children of alcoholics are more likely to be alcoholics.

Yes, a lot of Americans call themselves Christians, but very few of them walk the talk. You speak of "Christians" oppressing others? That is an example of those "Christians" who do not truely believe, because if they truely believed they would not be that way. We are called to love our neighbors (everybody inclusive), because "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

All I know, if we want to converse scientifically, is that we are born one gender or the other, and each gender fits sexually with the opposite, and that's for a reason. Scientifically, it just doesn't work that way when you try to put two of the same together. Psychologically yes, we are all born with sin. But not all babies who have alchoholic parents grow up to be alchoholics too. When he grows up tendancy towards it may be stronger than most people's, but still choice is involved.
