It's obvious that Kelly is Barbie and Ken's daughter. Kelly is supposed to be 4 and Barbie and Ken are supposed to be like 20. So Mattel thought in would be inappropriate for them to have a kid at such a young age so they covered it up by making Kelly Barbie's younger sister. Just think about it. When was the last time you saw Barbie's parents?

I always hated Kellys black velvet dress; she only wore it to Barbie funerals whne someone's head fell off or someone popped off a leg trying to ride a Grand Champion.
