Timesplitters: Future Perfect (PS2) Online with Xlink [11/20/09] (Part 1 of 2)

This is (Part 1 of 2) of this Timesplitters: Future Perfect Xlink Kai online game session from 11/20/09.

This multiplayer game of Timesplitters: Future Perfect was played with a program called Xlink Kai ( http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ ) .It lets you play PS2 games online even once their online servers are taken down. This means that playstation 2 games can be played online forever. The catch is it only works with games with a LAN mode. This is because the program uses a games LAN to trick the game into thinking players across the world are playing on its Local Area Network (LAN).

This map is one we usually try to play at least one per Xlink session. It is just made for a shotgun- focused weapon set because of all the hallways and tight spaces.

I need a little bit of help here. I did install this program but firefox wont let me start cuz i have a firewall thingy. How do i get rid of that?

@MartinMilkscene If your Xlink Kai opens up in your web browser you have the wrong version of it. That is the newest version of xlink kai and it doesn't work with ps2. You need version 7.3.1.7 of xlink kai which is found in the download sections of xlink kai's website.

@Lazyhoboguy Oh okay, but another question, is it easy to finde players to play with in this game?

@MartinMilkscene Well dont expect to be able to randomly hop on the game to find players, you have to plan games in advance, but we manage to get up to 8 players even sometimes. We have a weekly game of Timesplitters Future Perfect at ps2onlinegaming(dot)com on Saturday Nights. If you want to plan ps2 online games and ps2 LAN tunneling (xlink kai games) register on that website and post in the game scheduling section.
