Spencer Thornton & Lauri Berger produced /wrote/co-created SCREENWRITERS: on film, an interstitial series of interviews with the writers of classic films for Encore / Showtime Networks. They sat down with the screenwriters to find out the real stories on the making of their famous films

  • I dont think I'll be able to tolerate how people only know him from Black Ops.......

  • Wow. Treyarch did a good job of recreating George.

  • from black ops

  • @CTHULHUSURVIVOR Whilst I can't defend his recent work, dismissing Dawn and Day of the dead is ridiculous. They are fantastic films with truly scary undertones that take the almost accidental moral of surviving in night of the living dead and expanded upon it.

  • NOLTD was inspired by Matheson's 'I am Legend' ?? Maybe in Romero's mind it was, but he was just one of the two writers of the script of NOTLD. The other guy is kind of like a lost Beatle, he made some horror novels after NOTLD, including a sequel to NOTLD, however nothing ever again as good as NOTLD. BUT in this case (and because NOLTD was Romero's ONLY good movie), I think the true credit has to go the his co-writer for every single good thing storywise in NOTLD.

  • Savini said he hated directing this movie

  • Savini directed it, but Romero still was in charge of the production.
