BOSS 302 TracKey Installed

I had the TracKey tune installed on my 2012 BOSS 302 today, this is the first video.

Video starts at idle in the driveway with the TracKey in the ignition, quick rev, then switch to normal street key to hear the difference in sound compared to TracKey's lopey idle.

Message displayed on the dash will always show TracKey activated: Track Use Only. Once the engine warms up, it will alternate with TracKey Engine Enabled, meaning the lopey idle starts to become apparent.

First impressions on the street, definitely notice the sound, and the throttle response is noticeable, as is the engine braking. The car falls hard when you let off the gas at WOT. Overall I'm very impressed, can't wait to get it on a track!

@jlmust Yes the plates were removed within the first 200 miles! Sounds amazing, even without trackey engaged!

I regret to inform you that although your video was uploaded on November 1st, it was filmed at night...and therefore your trackey tune was flashed on your car subsequent to mine. See "First 2012 Ford Racing Trackey install". We installed our program at 11:00am EST. Winning!

@jwtribiano That's a cute story. Are you CSI? So filmed at night means installed at night? The daylight in your video looks rather low in the sky, hardly midday 11AM lighting. Only claim I made was that this is the first video, which you have failed to prove otherwise. Plus I'd rather post a video of ME enjoying MY car, versus a dealership employee. I still say I was the first customer/owner to drive their own car off the lot with TK enabled, so there. Winning +1.

Lopey idle = major disappointment. Not even close to what Ford advertised.

Agreed.....That employee is a friend of mine. I let him do the video as a favor later in the day. Either way, you are right...pointless. Only thing that matters is enjoying the car....and posting 11.81s @ 117 mph...stock on radials....that you'll never beat. See "Boss 302 drag radial record"
