Just think.. if you r driving on a bumpy road then it would be just the same....

@raphy1123 You're scaring me!!!
-
@Maloy7800 Yea, but careful you might be surprised... Never know who's flying to your right, or to your left... sometimes it's striking...
-
@raphy1123 I'll make sure to pass this knowledge to my first officer. Hey, what if he doesn't know! :-)

@Maloy7800 turbulence is safe, until it isn't anymore. But what CaptStacey is telling you is that pilots strive to keep the safety to it's maximum, in this case by avoiding turbulence, unfortunately it is not always possible to ensure you a smooth ride but pilots will take adequate decisions to keep their passengers and themselves safe and trust me we know how to do so...

@Maloy7800 Well aircraft performance is affected by it's overall aerodynamic design, the atmospheric condtions and it's weight. It's during the first portion of the flight that the airplane is the heaviest, the more you climb the less speed margin you have to fly the plane safely. As trubulence occur during flucuations in wind and speed direction, the sudden loss or gain of speed can cause the aircraft to get out of the enveloppe.

im afraif of turning and when turning wing goes down and it looks like the plain is abaut to turn into water dats what i hate
-
@Maloy7800 Would love to but my Cessna 172 service ceiling is much lower plus no oxygen plus non-pressurized cabin. Only the airlines and the expensive planes go high enough. We have to grunge along in the weather.
