Maison Bertaux was first established in 1871 and now today, is run by Michelle and Tania Wade - two sisters who now take care of the most famous patisserie in the heart of London's Soho.
It is the home of quirky art by the likes of Noel Fielding, Diva Zappa and also where you can find the most authentic French cakes and pastries in the UK.
In this video Michelle talks about going from Saturday girl to owner and you can also find part two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJIwzp-IevE , where she delves further into the running of Maison Bertaux.
The cinnamon tea is delicious. But I'd suggest knowing exactly what you want before you go in... they can be a little testy when asking what you want. So look in the window before you go in.
