i never scrub...like side to side....i just run it up the lashes...mine turn out amazing every time.

Thanks for the video! L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black has definitely work superbly in thicken and darkening my lashes, making them a lot more noticeable! However, it smudges pretty badly, despite it being waterproof :(
